Old Navy’s President Leaves
The president of Old Navy Dawn Robertson left the company this week as part of a mutual agreement with Old Navy’s Chief Executive Glenn Murphy. Old Navy hired Robertson to make a sales jump and apparently she failed to give Old Navy what they were expecting from her because they were disappointed in their fall and holiday sales. Dawn Robertson is well known for being a high energy manager with a great sense of style but she just was not a good fit for Old Navy whose main objective is to offer clothes for the family at sensible prices. Dawn had a preference for designer clothing and she would butt heads with Old Navy about it because they sell khakis and button downs.
