I was talking to my aunt about the things that you can claim on your taxes as a medical expense. You can claim things like a stair lift as long as your doctor actually prescribed it for you and you spent your money on it. It does not count if y our insurance paid for all of it. That is nice though because it is a medical expense if you need it.
