I was watching this television show the other day and they were talking about all of the different malpractice suits that doctors have faced for doing really dumb things. I know that a lot of hospitals are understaffed and things of that nature, but we are talking about people’s lives.  I am amazed at how many children end up with cerebral pulsey just because of a negligent doctor.  Being a doctor pays well, but that is not a good reason to get in the field, we need more doctors that want to do it to actually help people and not just make 5 figures.
