Apple stores changing the face of retail

When you enter an Apple retail store, don’t expect the same shopping experience you’d get at Best Buy or Circuit City. Apple stores have switched to what they call “concierge” service. Instead of wandering through the store, you’re directed by a personal shopper who helps you find what you’re looking for. And don’t expect to see any cash registers to be out in the open - the salespeople all hold handheld scanners and you can check out wherever you are, and even have your receipt sent directly to your e-mail.
