AT&T suspends parental control on cell phone

AT&T’s Smart Limits seems like the answer to a common parental problem - overuse of cell phones by their teenagers. Smart Limits allows parents to restrict the hours that their teen’s cell phone can be in use. Now AT&T is suspending the service, saying it could interfere with the teen’s ability to get help when calling 911. The user can call 911 during restricted hours, but if they lose their connection, 911 operators will not be able to call them back.
