$515 million is the hefty price tag Bristol-Myers Squibb will pay to get the feds off their back. They were being investigated for fraudulent pricing of its drugs to government health care programs, as well as illegal kick-backs to doctors in the form of bogus consulting fees and travel expenses to luxury resorts. How would you feel if you knew your doctor prescribed a drug not because it was the best one for you, but because it was getting some sweet side rewards from the pharmaceutical company?
