Capitol One has announced that it will lay off 1,900 employees, and also close its mortgage business. Is any one else feeling like the whole economy is just balanced on the edge of a cliff, and one little push will send the whole thing tumbling down? I feel like I should start hoarding money, cutting back on spending. But then that makes the economy worse when people do that, right? Sigh. It’s such a mess.
