Darple - New age of Online Auctions
I wrote this review for another site of mine, but i like it and wanted to share it, check it out. It is a fantastic new concept in the world of online auctions. So i just had to share it.
Darple.com, it takes a minute to understand, but the concept is fantastic. They offer the one thing that eBay does not, that is the ability to bid on multiple items and only buy one. Let me explain with a quick overview. Say you are looking for a certain DVD, you find 5 of them, let’s say the price varies anywhere form $7-$10, but you are only willing to spend $5. Ok, so you bid on all 5 items, if one of them decides to except your offer it retracts all of your others offers, which is fantastic, you have it for the price you want and you are not stuck with 4 other DVD’s. Now lets say you bid $5 on all 5, but decide that $7 is a decent price, and you decide to buy it, then Darple.com withdraws all of your other bids, so no matter what you will only end up with 1 item, even if your bids were different amounts, you will still get 1 item.
As for the seller, you can set your price and watch the bids roll in, your auction will end when you either accept a bid, or the item is bought out right, at any point in time you may change your asking price so you may compete with other sellers.
This is a fantastic concept in the world of online auctions, especially for low-ballers, you can bid on 50 items, and possibly get it for dirt dirt cheap, one of the sellers might be hard up, who knows.
It is a new concept, but is not hard to understand, and this simple niche will be the thing that makes Darple soar, it offers the buyers to curve the market instead of just the sellers, eBay offers the “best offerâ€, which is decent, but you can only offer to 1 person or you could end up with several items, with Darple you can make offers on several items and only take 1, it is brilliant.
This should go over real well with the younger genre, people into Games, DVD’s and CD’s. I think Darple will basically become a college oriented and known service in general. If I want a game, of course I am
