Arizon real estate regulators have accused escrow officers of skimming hundreds of thousands of dollars off home sales. Escrow officers are the people responsible for the integrity of the funds during a home sale, and that’s why this is especially disturbing.

Escrow firms serve as a neutral third party in a real estate transaction. Their role is to make sure everything in the contract is done right and everyone involved in the transaction is paid the right amount from a home sale’s proceeds.
