I was watching that show Flip This House the other day, and I realized that it is pretty unrealistic in this economy that we are currently in.  Houses do not sell very fast, and although I think investing in real estate is great, I just would not expect a very fast turnaround on a house that you acquire.  It is quite hard to sell a home right now, but if you fixed up the property and just let it be until the market gets better, you could be sitting on a potential gold mine!
