Nobody saw this coming. After a 12.7 billion dollar loss in 2006, Ford announced a profit of $750 million during the second quarter of 2007. Ford execs say that everything’s not quite coming up roses yet, though, and predict losses the rest of this year. But they plan to meet their profitability goals in the year 2009.
