GM strike shuts down plants in Canada and Mexico
The United Auto Workers Union is striking against General Motors -the first strike against GM since 1970. 73,000 GM workers walked off the job and onto picket lines this week, and the strike caused plants in Canada and Mexico to shut down. Both sides started talking again in Detroit, but no word how long this will go on.
