The slowed down housing market is having an effect on retailer Home Depot. Their third quarter profits dropped nearly 27%, since the new house starts are slowed down, and people are putting their renovation plans on hold. I’m sure most people are waiting to see what the economy does before investing a lot in remodels and other projects that could wait.
