The Director of the Department of Transportation wants to limit the amount of time passengers would have to wait on planes that have been delayed due to weather. There have been two incidents recently where people were stranded inside a plane on the runway for up to 10 1/2 hours! They weren’t allowed to leave the plane - and it sat there for longer than a cross-country flight takes. I would be so angry if that happened to me!
