I am in the process of building a site completely from scratch specifically for bloggers to utilize. I had to hire a coder and I have done a ton of market research before I even got started. The site should become a cornerstone in the blogging universe even bigger than technorati. Well wish me luck because I have a ton of money invested in it and I really would like to see it go over successfully.
