New resort going up in Las Vegas

MGM Mirage has joined in a 50-50 venture with Kerzner International, owner of the resort Atlantis in the Bahamas, to build and operate a multi-billion dollar resort on the strip in Las Vega. MGM will provide 40 acres of land, and Kerzner will develop and operate the project. No word on whether or not a projected date for a grand opening has been set yet.
