Sag Harbor

There used to be this thing in Jackson County, North Carolina that took place in the Civic Centre. It was called the Home Show, and it offered nothing interesting to a child of my age other than freebies – promotional pens Frisbees, pencils, rulers, and bags of useless paint swatches and rug cleaner samples. It wasn’t like the stuff was worth anything, but to this day I’ll be writing with a pencil I got as a little kid at these home shows.
